The Plexsum Story
Plexsum Staffing’s CEO, Tina Tallyen, and her husband, Eric, are experienced healthcare professionals who want to make a difference for the people they work with in the industry. Eric experienced working travel assignments as an RN and worked with others who were traveling with a variety of RN staffing agencies. After sharing their individual stories and desires to improve their circumstances – including many discussions about what they could do to make the challenges of staffing better and, at the same time, ensure better experiences and resources for the clinicians doing the work – they decided to start a staffing company.
The idea for Plexsum solidified while Tina and Eric were on a road trip to one of their favorite vacation spots. The company has grown from that entrepreneurial spirit and desire to make a difference – from our beginnings in 2013 to one of the fastest-growing staffing agencies in the country today. We started in Central PA, headquartered in State College and covering the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, PA, markets, and now operate in multiple states throughout the East Coast and beyond.
