Plexsum Testing Center offers courses and training for Healthcare providers, individuals, organizations and groups who need CPR, First Aid, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Blood Borne Pathogen training and Fit mask testing. We offer a training center in State College or can bring our training to your location for groups and organizations. American Heart Association Courses
Courses for Healthcare Providers
BLS (Basic Life Support)- CPR/AED skills for Adult, Child & Infants. Can be provided in-person or blended learning via HeartCode BLS online learning. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor or on a simulation station.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)- Advanced Life Support skills for Children and Infant resuscitation for Healthcare Providers. Can be provided in-person or blended learning via HeartCode PALS online learning. New providers strongly encouraged to take in-person initial course. Experienced Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode PALS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA PALS Instructor or on a simulation station.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)- Adult Advanced Cardiac Life Support skills for Healthcare Providers. Can be provided in-person or blended learning via HeartCode ACLS online learning. New providers strongly encouraged to take in-person initial course. Experienced Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode ACLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA ACLS Instructor or on a simulation station.

Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED- Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED provides students the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of first aid, CPR, and use of an AED for adults, children & infants. This course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community. Comprehensive course designed for those requiring training to meet OSHA or other regulatory agency requirements.
Heartsaver CPR/AED- Heartsaver CPR AED Course provides the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of CPR and how to use an AED for adults, children and infants. The course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community.
Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens- This course teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.
Heartsaver First Aid Pediatric- Including CPR & AED- The AHA’s Heartsaver Pediatric course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs first aid and/or CPR training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. This course can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared to act in an emergency.
The course is intended for those involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This audience includes childcare workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations. This course is also ideal for parents, grandparents, extended family, babysitters, and guardians.
